The Story of Us

Meagan and Mark’s story began the way many modern love stories do—with a swipe on Bumble. What started as easy conversation quickly turned into something more. From the very beginning, it felt effortless. They connected instantly, discovering shared interests and a natural rhythm that made talking to each other feel like second nature. In February 2024, they met in person for their first date at Barrio Queen. What was supposed to be a quick drink turned into hours of conversation neither of them wanted to end. That night set the tone for everything that followed. At the time, Mark was living in Arizona for a temporary job, and their relationship grew quickly while they were in the same place. When his job took him to New Orleans and eventually back home to Connecticut, they embraced long distance—and somehow, it only brought them closer. Every night, they would spend hours on the phone together. It quickly became Meagan’s favorite part of the day when Mark would call. Whether they were watching movies and shows together from miles apart or getting lost in long conversations, it was always easy, fun, and effortless. No matter how much they talked, they never seemed to run out of things to say. They spent weeks at a time visiting each other—splitting time between Arizona and Connecticut—proving that no amount of distance could outweigh what they had found together. Through it all, one thing became clear: this was something special. They had both waited for the right person, and when they found each other, it felt like the perfect fit. In early 2025, they decided to take the next step toward building a future together. In March, they found out they were expecting their greatest adventure yet. Just a couple of months later, in May 2025, Mark proposed in a way that perfectly captured their story—playful, meaningful, and unforgettable. Inside a photo booth, during a series of snapshots, he pulled out the ring on the final frame, capturing Meagan’s joy and surprise in real time. In November 2025, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Cecilia—the greatest blessing and the heart of their growing family. Now, surrounded by the love that started it all and the family they’ve created together, Meagan and Mark are ready to say “I do” and celebrate the beginning of their forever as Mr. and Mrs. Robles.

When and where do I RSVP?

Formal invitations will be mailed well in advance of our wedding. Each invitation includes an RSVP card—please fill it out and mail it back by the deadline printed on the card. If you’d like to respond sooner or have questions, please contact us directly by phone.

What if I can't make it?

We’ll miss you, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as you know so we can plan accordingly. If you’re sure you can’t attend before your invitation arrives, please let us know sooner by phone or email.

Can I bring a guest?

If your invitation includes a guest’s name, please bring them; otherwise the invitation is for the person named only. We’d love to offer a plus one to everyone, but our guest list is limited and we need to keep within our budget—thank you for understanding.

Are kids invited?

As much as we adore your kids, we've decided to keep our wedding celebration primarily adults-only. The only children attending will be those in the wedding party and immediate family. Thank you for understanding! We hope you'll take this as an opportunity for a relaxing night out and celebrate with us!

What is the dress code?

Dress code is formal. For women, floor‑length gowns, elegant midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are appropriate. Men should wear a suit with a tie. The ceremony will be outdoors (typical mid‑to‑high 70s in Gilbert, AZ); cocktail hour and reception are indoors.

What shoes should I wear?

The ceremony will be outdoors on pavement, so heel-sinking isn’t a concern—wear whatever feels comfortable. We recommend shoes you can stand and walk in for the ceremony and dance in later at the reception.

What will the weather be like?

Typically in mid‑November in Gilbert, AZ, the weather is mild—mid‑to‑high 70s during the afternoon, cooling into the 60s by evening.

Is there parking available?

Yes — there is plenty of on-site parking at the venue.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 3:30 pm to mingle and find a seat; the ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes — we’ll serve wine, beer, and spirits throughout the evening. Non-alcoholic options will also be available, including water, iced tea, and hot coffee.

What time will the reception end?

The reception will end at midnight; please plan rides accordingly.

For guests traveling in for the wedding, we’ve arranged discounted rates at two hotels conveniently located about 3–5 minutes (approximately 1 mile) from the venue. Please note that these are not traditional room blocks. To receive the discounted rate, guests must book using the designated link provided for their preferred hotel.
